The 2026 Alexandra Truck, Ute & Rod Show once again delivered an incredible day for families, truck enthusiasts and industry professionals, with thousands of attendees gathering to celebrate Australia’s trucking and automotive culture.

BHM Plant Hire was proud to be part of this year’s event, showcasing our Kenworth C509, Dirt Diamond, representing our heavy haulage division, OG Heavy Haulage. The truck attracted plenty of attention, with visitors stopping by to admire the display, take photos, ask questions and share their passion for the industry.

The presentation of the truck reflected the pride and commitment that BHM Plant Hire Director Greg Green brings to BHM Plant Hire every day. In the lead-up to the event, Greg, his family and members of the wider BHM team dedicated countless hours to washing, polishing and preparing Dirt Diamond for display.

Despite challenging weather conditions and busy work schedules, the team spent several days ensuring every detail was just right. Their efforts weren’t about seeking recognition, but rather taking pride in their work, representing the businesses professionally, and showcasing an industry they are passionate about. The finished display was a testament to the teamwork, dedication and care that takes place behind the scenes long before the crowds arrive.

The annual event was a great opportunity for Greg to share his passion for trucking with his family. Joining him on the day were his partner, Fiona, and their two young boys, Ollie and Charlie, making it a memorable family occasion.

The Alexandra Truck, Ute & Rod Show continues to be one of the standout events on the calendar, bringing together hundreds of trucks, cars and hot rods in an atmosphere that celebrates community, craftsmanship and the transport industry. The crowds were impressive, the atmosphere was fantastic, and it was great to see so many people out supporting the event, local businesses and the wider Alexandra community.

A special thank you goes to everyone who helped get us ready for the day, and to those who stopped by our display. Whether you came over for a chat, took a photo of Dirt Diamond, asked about our operations, or simply stopped to admire the truck, we genuinely appreciate your support and interest.

The trucking industry is built on strong relationships, hard work and a shared passion for what we do, and events like the Alexandra Truck, Ute & Rod Show are a fantastic reminder of the great people who make up our industry.
