BHM Plant Hire Supports the Longwood Bushfire Relief Efforts

Following the 2026 Longwood fires in Victoria’s Strathbogie region, BHM Plant Hire has been actively engaged in contracted recovery and clean-up works across effected areas.

In the wake of the fires, which caused widespread damage to farmland, fencing and infrastructure, BHM deployed machinery and experienced operators to support essential recovery operations. Crews worked long days on-site, alongside late-night float shifts, ensuring equipment and resources were delivered efficiently where they were needed most.

Working in collaboration with local crews, contractors, and project teams, BHM contributed to a range of recovery works, including clearing fire-affected land, assisting with road access, and supporting timber and wood collection efforts that actively gave back to those effected.
